Overview

Oron Toilet Cleaner is part of the Oron home cleaning range from Yeturu Bio-Tech Limited, Hyderabad, India, a client we have worked with for more than ten years. We designed the bottle label for this product, at the same time as the pouch packaging for the rest of the range.

Challenge

The label had to be die cut to the exact shape of the bottle, so every element had to fit inside that shape.

The bigger problem was the bottle itself. It looks like almost every other bathroom and toilet cleaner bottle, so the label became the main way to make Oron different. It also had to stand out when placed beside other products on the shelf.

At the same time, the label still had to do its main job: show the brand clearly, give the important information, and look clean and trustworthy.

Approach

We set a clear order for the eye: first the logo, then the important information.

Blue background. Blue suits a toilet cleaner and gives the label a clean, fresh look.
Information that stands out. The key details are clear against the blue, and the layout stays neat. Even at a small size, the message is easy to read.
Clear use. The design shows that the cleaner works on the toilet, sink, bathtub and wash basin.

Outcome

Oron Toilet Cleaner is now part of the client’s product range and is presented on their website.
